Free: 7 days · Pro: 1 minute to 1 year. Changes apply to new items and future live edits. Expiry uses each device’s clock.

After a successful copy, the item is deleted on this device and connected peers. Disconnected peers learn about deletion when they reconnect. The system clipboard is not cleared.

Clearing browser data removes this device’s notes and pairing keys. Local storage is not a backup.

PLAIN LANGUAGE PRIVACY

Your pad, on your devices.

Text, images and device credentials are stored in this browser’s IndexedDB. Paired browsers transfer content through encrypted WebRTC DataChannels. TURN relays may carry encrypted packets; they must not record content.

Our signalling service handles public device keys, temporary pairing codes, IP addresses and connection information in memory. It does not persist your pad content. No URL previews, content analytics or remote backups are enabled.

Both devices must be online together to exchange new content. A received item stays locally until expiry or deletion. Offline devices cannot receive a deletion until they reconnect. Browser data removal, device compromise or clock errors can affect your content.

Pair only trusted devices. Compare the security code on both screens. Removing a device blocks future transfers from this browser; it cannot erase copies already received. For a group, remove the device on every remaining device.

Pro billing uses Stripe and a separate customer/licence record. Recovery keys grant access to a licence, never to note contents. Local content is not encrypted at rest by SentPad.
