Terms
SentPad is operated by Compassline Ltd. These terms cover the SentPad Free public beta. Updated 29 October 2026.
Using SentPad
SentPad is an account-free scratchpad for transferring text, URLs and small supported images between trusted devices. You are responsible for the material you transfer and for deciding which devices to trust. Confirm the complete matching security code on both devices. Do not use the service for unlawful material, unauthorised access, harassment, automated pairing-code attacks, excessive traffic or reselling/abusing our TURN relay credentials.
Limits and availability
Free history expires after seven days. Up to ten images are stored locally per browser pad; adding another can evict the oldest eligible local image. Processed images are limited to 10 MB each. History is capped at 500 entries and 300 MB of content, subject to browser storage capacity. The live pad allows 200,000 characters.
This is an initial public beta with limited hosting capacity. The service may restart or become unavailable when resource/usage limits are reached. Both devices must be online to exchange new content. Keep independent copies of information you need: SentPad provides no server content backup or guaranteed recovery, permanent storage, uninterrupted availability or guaranteed remote erasure.
Privacy and security
Read our Privacy notice for browser storage, connection metadata and transport-relay details. Local content is not encrypted at rest by SentPad. Removing a pairing cannot erase received content or revoke a device’s independent connections to other peers.
Service changes and misuse
We may change reasonable technical limits or restrict abusive traffic to protect the service. We may update these terms, showing the new date here. You can stop using SentPad at any time. No payment is required for this release; Pro purchases are unavailable.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Contact support@sentpad.com about problems or questions.
